Sweet Pea Card

I made this card the other day using a Sweetpea Stamp which I coloured using waterecolour pencils and added a lot of stickles to her wings, roses and dress. The stunning papers are from the Prima Madeline 6x6 paper pad and the flowers again are prima with MME Lush Gems for the centres. The scalloped edge I made using a Martha Stewert Deco Fan punch.

I am so looking forward to the weekend, my lovely friend Jade is getting married next month and its her hen weekend, were heading off tomorrow to Camber Sands, then Saturday were going to Hastings for a picnic on the beach and some vintage shopping, I love the old town in Hastings its full of antique shops :) then Saturday night we'll be in Hastings and having dinner is a Mexican restaurant then going clubbing which should be fun then Sunday morning I think we may be going to Rye in the morning, I love Rye again for all the antique and vintage shops :) then after that were all heading back home to sunny (most likely rainy) Hhertfordshire.

Fragments Mirror

LOVED making this sooooooo much !!!!! I started by using Vintage Photo Distress Stain to cover my mirror, I used Tim Holtz Fragments to create the tiles and all the paper used to make my tiles is from the Crowded Attic Paper Stash.

Im really looking forward to tonight the Hubster is taking me to go see the new Harry Potter film YAY weve watched all the older ones last week back to back (not to my hubbys liking hahahahaha) oh well like I said to him, he married me its his tough luck hahahaha

Art Journaling

Thought I'd share this page with you that I did on Saturday, I had a lovely creative day and the hubby even joined in and did some art journaling !!!

For the background I used Lettuce, Stream and Purple Twlight Color Washes YUM and the white is Claudine Hellmuths Blank Canvas Studio Paint. The stamp is Smile from Stampotique I love this little cutie and I also used heads from Stampotique for my background. The cage is Tim Holtz Caged Bird die. The text I typed up on the computer.

Bombshell Card

 Morning everyone, hope you are all well. It was my lovely friend Dawn's birthday on Friday and we had a fab day on Saturday having a vintage picnic in the park :) Dawn is really into her gorgeous burlesque and pin up girls so I just had to use this stunning Bombshell image from the mans ruin set to make her card. Her favourite colour is purple so that set the colour theme. To make the background I used the text from Studio 490 Art from the Heart set and stamped it using Dusty Concord distress stains, I then distressed around the edges using Wild Honey distress ink. I used glossy accents to make the glass more realistic. The swallows are from the bombshell love and luck set. The trim was created using Martha Stewarts Deco Fan punch and the text I created using Tim Holtz Vintage Market die.

Studio 490 Art from the Heart Card

 

LOVE these stamps !!!! this set has to be my favourite Studio 490 I think ? maybe ? its a very hard decision hehehehehe I used the Art from the Heart stamp set for this card. I made the text background by using white card stock and stamping the text from the set using Peeled Paint Distress Stain then distressed the edges using Wild Honey Distress Ink. The tulip I made by paper piecing the stamp using red and green card stock. The text I made using Maya Road chipboard letters and Peeled Paint distress stain.

Caged Bird Tag

I am in love this is die !!!! its the first time ive had a play with Tim Holtz caged bird die and I love it !!!! I cut the cage out of black card then used perfect pearls mists in heirloom gold, and sprayed away, love the effect it made :) The tag is a size 8 craft tag which I inked using color washes in lettuce and stream, really love these :) and think this colour combo is FAB. The gorgeous vine stamp is from the dylusions around the edge set which I then doodled around using a inkssentials white pen. The text was computer generated I distressed this and the bird using tumbled glass distress ink.

June Calander Pages

Another month has been and gone cant believe its half way through the year and its now July !!!! Here is my June calander journal pages, the image is from the Octopode Factory by Lily Chilvers, LOVE these images. The background I made using a mixture of Claudine Hellmuth paints and then stamped onto using Tim Holtz distress inks and stamps. The gorgeous tape is 7Gypsies.
