Cold and Frosty DT Card

Im a little late with this post, opps !!!! this months challenge over at Crafty Calender Challenge is cold and frosty. I made this card using crafty individual stamp 281 which I stamped using black archival ink, I dressed the background using tumbled glass distress ink and a distressing tool. I then added gems and stickles to my image. I then used my sewing machine to add some stitched detail.

The 12 Tags of Christmas Day 2

Morning everyone, its day 2 of Tim's 12 tags of Christmas and here is my interpretation of his tag, I decided to use the snowman die from the winter wonders, I loved making the background Kraft Resist is FAB I love it.

... my dear Tim send to me hahahahaha The 12 Tags of Chrisssssttttmassssss. Ok you can pretend that I was singing that hehehehehe Im on a roll today with the blogging !!!! as most of you will know its the start of Tim Holtz's 12 tags of Christmas, here is my interpretation of todays tag

 

 

All of the products used are available and in stock, instead of plain white embossing powder I used snowflake embossing tinsle which I think looks really nice and Im really loving the pinecones :) I didnt have any toothpicks so I used cottonbuds, I just cut the ends off and used the plastic bit.

Novembers Been and Gone !!!

I can't believe its December already !!! This year has flown by at full speed and its nearly christmas already ekkkk !!!! Here is my November pages for Kates Journal Calender Challenge. I painted the background using Juniper, Aqua and Pool adirondack paint dabbers, then everything else is just doodling.

Hey everyone hope you all have fab weekends planned, I've got a kids crafting session this morning which I'm really looking forward too, there very young so we will be playing with paints, making hand paintings, and also painting with sponge shapes, we will also be colouring in, playing with chalk boards and making pretty stars covered in sequins and pretty papers. Fingers crossed they all enjoy themselves !!!

I thought id just do a quick post with some more journal pages from NEC, I really love the vibrancy of these pages. All my backgrounds I painted with adirondack dabbers, the stamps are a mixture of dylusions, Tim Holtz, Dina Wakely, Stampotique and Wendy Vecchi.

October Calander Challenge

 Im a bit late this month with my calander pages for Kate's challenge, i've been so busy this month what with NEC and then getting everything back in order etc. but life is back to normal now hehehehe so here are my pages for October, now to get up to date with November !!!!!

Were off to NEC Birmingham today to set up for the Hobbycraft Show, if your going to the show please pop by and say hello were at stand H11. Ill be doing on stand demos all four days and the lovely Mandy and Lily Chilvers will be popping by on Friday and hopefully doing some demoing too, Lily is the very talented creator of the Octopode Factory, it should be great fun.

Spooky Bunting

I love Halloweeen !!!! I made this cool spooky bunting to hang on my fireplace. I used one of the sizzix famelits called banner to make the triangles, I used wild honey, rusty hinge and barn door distress inks to colour my bunting the background stamp is from the Tim Holtz Halloween Silhouettes set which I stamped in Rusty Hinge. The rosettes are the tim holtz decorative strip mini rosette which again I coloured using wild honey, rusty hinge and barn door. I spritz the whole thing using heirloom gold perfect pearls mists to give it a bit of shimmer (love these mists sooooo much !!!) the letters are Tom Holtz idea-ology alpha parts. I cant wait to carve my pumpkin ready for halloween now, think ill docorate the fireplace later? have a fab weekend everyone xxxx

Octopode Factory Challenge - Guest DT

The lovely and very talented Lily Chilvers asked me if I would be a guest designer for The Octopode Factory Friday Challenge, being as I LOVE Octopode stamps it was a no brainer, yes please Lily :) This week the challenge is to use the colours Orange and Black. This to me makes me think of halloween so I used the gorgeous Pumpkin and Ghost Halloween images and set to work creating this journal page. I used Claudine Hellmuth paints for my background and all the other images on this page including the text are Stampotique stamps.

September Journal Calender Challenge

Opps im a bit late this my journal page this month !!!! heres is my September pages for Kate Cranes Journal Calander Challenge.

I've used one of the scrummy Suzi Blu stamps called spring summer chic and also one of the new Dylusions sets for the sentiment. I didnt really plan this page it just kind of happened over the month, like most of my calender pages do, the colours are more vibrant in real life this piccie makes it look a bit dull.

Im really looking forward to the next few days im off to Harrogate this afternoon to spend the next few days with the lovely Dyan at AFTH on the Dina Wakely Sun, Moon and Stars Journal Workshop, cant wait :)

Dont worry about still ordering from the shop while im away as Steve and my lovely Jay will be doing all the orders as usual while im away, what more could a girl ask for 3 days of journal bliss while the boys do all the work hahahaha perfect :)

Crafty Calender Challenge 'Spooky' 2nd Birthday

Hey everyone one, cant believe the months are just flying by this year at rapid speed !!!!! Crafty Calender Challenge is 2 years old this month !!!! Tim Holtz 'Sew Beautiful' Canvas Workshop
