Ive been art journaling alot lately I really love getting messy with inks and paints and I never know what im going to journal about until its finished. Here some pages ive made recently. I really love the colours of the first one I love using pinks and oranges together, even though I dont actually like the colour pink, strange isnt it.

Bombshell Biker Card

Today is my dads birthday, besides my husband my dad is the most important man in my life, I love him so much, he really is the best dad (mind you I think a lot of girls think this about there dads too) hehehe coming from a family of bikers, I knew exactly what stamp I wanted to use to make my dads card, custom chopper I love this stamp set by bombshell stamps. My dads bike is a lot bigger than this chopper but he has an easy ridder too so I think he will like this image. I used glossy accents to make the bike stand out more and look more realistic.

First demo on the website - Kling-On

Ive had a couple of people ask how to use Kling-On and how to mount rubber stamps, so I've just embedded my first video onto the website, very exciting.

Live the life you've imagined

Ive been making tags again, really love these tags they are the perfect size to make small pieces of art :) I used the gorgeous Tim Holtz tag and bookplate die to make my tag. I first cut out a tag using card then again using some gorgeous paper from the crowded attic stash YUM, I then used a distress tool around the edges of my tag and inked using tumbled glass distress ink love this colour !!! I used the gorgeous artful flight stamp set, again using tumbles glass distress ink I stamped the flourish stamp around the edge of my tag, then stamped the bird image onto a serparte piece of card and cut it out and layered on my card using 3D foam. The flower I made using the tattered floral die with old dictionary paper and again distressed around the edge with tumbled glass. The sentiment is from the odds and ends set which I stamped onto sticky back canvas and framed using the bookplate from the tag die which I attached using a memo pin.

Tim Holtz Tag

Hey everyone, hope you all had a fab weekend, we had a lovely one and got a lot of allotementing done and plants planted so was really nice :) I also got some crafting time in and made this tag. I think this is actually the first Timmy Tag I've made I really enjoyed making it as its a lovely size to work with. I made the tag myself using the FAB  tag and bookplates die can see this getting a lot of use in the future. I coloured and distressed my tag using wild honey and rusty hinge distress inks. The stamps used areTim Holtz steampunk and odds and ends sets. I started by stamping the background with rusty hinge distress ink then used black archival ink to stamp the gentlemen and hand. I then stamped the odds and ends ticket and sentiment on a seperate piece of card, distressed again with rusty hinge then cut out to make my ticket embellishment, I attached this to my tag using a memo pin. I used Tim Holtz film strip ribbon along the bottom on my tag which I attached using the tiny attacher. I finally finished off my tag with some gorgeous Maya Road fibers, love these soooo much (these ones are the Australian Outback colours) and a trinket pin.
Also for you Graphic 45 fans, the stunning Springtime papers are finally in !!!! they are very limited stock as ive not received my whole order yet and was sent just a few of each pad so if you want them you'll have to be quick.

Kate Cranes Calender Journal Challenge

Opps im a little late for this 5 days to be precise hehehehehe here is my April pages for Kates Calender Challenge. Its a bit of a scruffy affair this month, This started off as a mop up page which I added extra colour too. The rain drops are from Claudine Hellmuths doodle set and the circles I made using a bottle top.

Distressed Sweet Pea

I love this steampunk sweet pea image by Brigid Ashwood you can find it here on the plate 104 it comes with another gorgeous fairy and a gear stamp, which I used to make the gear embellishments. I coloured my image and gears using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads in Rusty Hinge, Wild Honey and Spun Sugar. I am so pleased with how the colours turned out, will definately be using these again some time. I used a Paper Distresser tool around the edges of my image and paper and inked using rusty hinge again. The designer paper is from the Crowed Attic paper stash, loving these papers so much.
I just wanted to also say thank you everyone for your lovely anniversary wishes xxxx

2nd Wedding Anniversary

I cant believe its been 2 years already since mine and my hubby's lovely buddhist wedding in Thailand. Our anniversary was yesterday and we had a  lovely day at whipsnade zoo and had a scrummy picnic. I've decided that I would make my anniversary pressies to my husband every year. This year the traditional gift is cotton so I decided to make a canvas picture for him. I used Claudine Hellmuth sticky-back canvas to print one of our wedding photos on, I then sewed this onto some cotton fabric and frayed the edges, when finished I stuck my material and picture to the back of my box frame. To embellish I used stunning velvet hydrangeas by Petaloo that I have new in the shop. To finish the piece off I used some pearl pins, these are the actual pins that held my lotus flowers together on our wedding day. Im pleased to say that Jay loved his gift :) it was alot simplier that I was originally planned but time just passed me by. Im so sorry I havent been around much lately but I've been putting hundreds of new products on the shop website, luckily its all on there now and I can get back to the important stuff, like crafting hahahahaha
